It was fabulous to witness so many players and their families on the lawn outside the Tony Peek Pavilion enjoying the Junior Presentation.
Special thanks to Life Members Ross Neilson Julie Wright & Mark Murphy for attending. And, a big shout out to Jacquie Bright, Chris Evans, Michelle Flintoff for all their work in the Canteen & the Cranky One Robert Smart for cooking up a storm on the BBQ.
Darcy Longstaff and Tyler Evans have shared the Alf Mann Junior Club Champion award. Darcy and Tyler join elder brothers Reece and Liam respectively who are previous winners of the Alf Mann Junior Club Champion. The Alf Mann honour was a welcome tonic for Tyler, who was unable to attend the Presentation as he was suffering from COVID. Tyler’s trophy and Games milestone recognition plaque were presented to him @ Senior Presentation
Both Darcy and Tyler began their careers in the Wildcats’ T-Ball program and progressed through the various age groups along their memorable journey. Ironically, just two games separated Tyler & Darcy as they closed out their distinguished junior careers at the Club. Tyler played 177 junior games, while Darcy played 175.
