A tough day at the office for our men’s teams this week, with our Div 4 Black team the only winner 🙁 Our Women’s Black team continued their unbeaten run however the Red team unfortunately had to forfeit due to a lack of players. Our Juniors teams continue to play well, with most teams winning this weekend.

Darcy Longstaff performed well in his debut game for the Melbourne Aces last weekend. Darce came in to relieve with two out and two runners on base against Geelong-Korea and picked up the out. Unfortunately the Aces went down 3-0.

The Aces play a four game series against Perth Heat at Melbourne Ballpark later this week from 17 Nov to 20 Nov.

Congratulations to Ethan Johnston, Sam Stafilis and Sam Walk on their selection to represent Victoria in the U16 State Team. The championship will be played in Sydney from 9-18 January 2023.

ITS BACK! After 3 years, Club 3150 is returning to Waverley Baseball Club and we hope to bring back lots of new and familiar faces, especially those we haven’t seen for some time. The event will include an afternoon of enjoyment, catching up and fund raising the new Multi-Purpose Training Facility. Tickets are $60 per person, or $100 for a couple and include:

• Appetisers
• Roast lunch
• Sweets to finish
• 2 hours open bar (Beer, Wine and Soft drink only, with Spirits at half price)

There will also be a raffle with 5 fantastic prizes such as Peninsula Hot Springs, a day at Puffing Billy etc. Raffle Tickets will be sold on the day. For catering purposes, please RSVP by purchasing your tickets via the Trybooking link before 13 November.
