On Saturday, January 31 2026 65+ people gathered at Napier Park to celebrate our past players, and in particular those who participated in our 1975 B Grade premiership when we defeated Blackburn 9-3 at Ross Straw Field.

As well as having 11 people from that game at the reunion, we were very pleased to welcome Al Ramadan via Zoom from Santa Cruz, California.  Al threw the complete game, winning 9-3 … as a sixteen year old!!

Many thanks to all our volunteers who organised catering, drinks, room setup, raffle prizes and the myriad other details required to run such a big event.

And of course, huge thanks to all the past players and supporters who came along.  In particular, thanks to Al Ramadan and John Wadsworth who reminisced about their baseball and and after-baseball journeys through life.

We plan to run our Past Players and Supporters day annually in late January each year and hope that next years event will be bigger and better.
