Everybody Archives - Waverley Baseball Club

Over 100 family, friends and colleagues celebrated the life of Peter Flintoff in the Tony Peek Pavilion on Sunday, February 27.  Several speakers talked about Pete, along with some pre-recorded testimonials from people who couldn't be there on the day. We publish these tributes as a permanent record of a great Waverley Baseball clubman, and supporter of baseball in general.

Waverley Baseball Club has a rich history of players participating in the College Baseball programs in the United States of America. As players reach the pinnacle of the junior baseball careers, pathways are available for either professional or college baseball. You may have seen in the Waverley Baseball Club “Tony Peek Pavilion”, the club has had many players go over to the USA and do well at the professional level. What you may not be aware of is that Waverley BC has also had many players go over to the USA and have productive College Baseball careers, right back to 1982 when Phil Dale went to college in Georgia USA.
