SUMMER:

It is with great pleasure that we announce Andrew Tierney as our senior mens head coach for the 25/26 season.

Andy is one of the most respected figures in Victorian baseball. Playing over 400 games for Blackburn winning multiple premierships in the process.

Andy’s coaching career is equally impressive as his playing career. Having stints at Knox, Melbourne, Heathmont and Ringwood.

Having coached 4 teams, Andy has experienced immense success taking all each of the 4 teams to finals appearances. Winning a division 1 club Championship in the process.

A team first coaching philosophy and strong leadership at the helm means exciting times at Waverley.

WINTER:

The Waverley Blackcats are proud to welcome Kai Reum as our Head Senior Coach for the upcoming Winter season!

Kai joins us all the way from Canada and has already proven his capabilities playing with our Summer team.

Why we’re excited to have Kai:

Elite Pedigree: Served as the Director of Player Development at Fordham University (NCAA Division I).

Coaching Depth: 6+ years of specialized pitching coaching at both High School and College levels.

The “X” Factor: A proven track record of sharpening player mindsets and refining elite skills.

Played as an infielder and hitter before moving over to pitching
